Brookshire11 stepped on her little marans just a while ago. It got under her feet and brynn didn't see it. It was hurt bad and her husband had to put it down. She's pretty messed up about it. This was the last of the 4 she originally got from a breeder in Decatur. She was fostering them for me and 3 got through her fence a week ago and the neighbors dog got them. Sadie was the last and brynn and I decided it was best if she kept this one. I'm so sad for her. It was such a beautiful chick.

My heart is breaking for her.

Quote: That is such an awesome story. So many people with real hearts getting together to help one person out, is amazing.

Brookshire, I am so sorry to hear about the chick. I am at a loss for words, God has a plan for every living thing on His earth. Maybe He needed Sadie in Heaven for a special purpose. Don't fret, you will see her again. I am praying this gives you some comfort. God Bless you and yours!!

Does anyone on here have game chickens
If so my babies are two months old and I habe about 5 roo that have started fighting they are to young for this behavior and I am not sure if it is a pecking order or just pure fighting thing but they are getting rough enough to cause injuries and I am not sure if I need to go a head a seperate them all or just let them decide the pecking order. Anyone else have this problem with game chickens.
