Glad to hear. I hope folks were safe at the touch down.@Ren2014
Yes. No damage here at my place. About 3 miles by the way a crow flies, had a small twister touch down. But that's as close as it got. Not much hail fell, thankfully.
It has been unreal for sure!Weirdest weather I have any recollection of. And, West Texas has a history of weird weather. First it is cold then hot all in what is supposed to be Winter. Now it goes from the 80's to hoping for a high in the mid-50's today with COLD winds from the North that make it hard to even open a door to go outside. The weather folks are predicting snow for the panhandle areas and west of us. We are supposed to get some much needed rain. Then, the weekend and next week back in the 80's again.

Yes, the weather is about the same here, except without snow. Highs up near 80, lows down to 50 or so, this weekend. Still wet from last activity. Going to be beautiful during the day though. I am going to be out in the dirt all weekend. Making rounds now for animals, then on to gardening. Trying to get it in over the next week. Then on to flower beds. I just love spring. Bet the dogs are enjoying the spring weather.
That is a great idea. I do corn, peas and various melon in the summer. It really does help to keep your birds cool in those hot months. I also freeze gallon milk jugs of water and sit them in the coop to help cool things down.
I do this but not with canned goods. I use garden excess like squash, cucumbers and herbs.
