Ms. Wolfe, do you have any kind of barn, shed, or any type of out building that could be put to temp use as a coop? Any interior portion of your home that could be transformed? We can fit our's in our laundy room and plan to do that if we must.

I'm great.
My mother....not so much.
They have evacuated her neighborhood.
It WILL flood and stay flooded for a long time..the city officials are saying they may not be able to get back in for at least a week if not two.
She is along a major river (San Bernard) that is going to overflow bad.

My younger brother's neighborhood just got hit by a tornado about 30 minutes ago.
His house if fine...it was just crazy close to him, so scary.

It's going to be a long week.

I'm getting worried about @TexasLisa ...I haven't seen her online and I know she is very close to a bad area right now.

Everyone in South East/central Texas, how are y'all keeping your birds safe from Harvey? We just lost one of our Bantams.. they don't have much cover and I feel terrible but I have nothing to help keep them out of the rain that won't fly away in this stupid crazy weather!! We moved all we could to a dryER place. But not all will fit.. I'm scared we are going to lose more than just the one!!

Hope you and your family are alright sad to hear about your bantum. Any room bathroom mud room might save your flock. If unable to bring them inside pray for the best. My heart goes out to all of you there. I pray for the best.

so sorry to hear abour about Mom, glad your brother is ok hope Texaslisa is ok, will remember her in prayers tonight. Glad you are doing ok, Maybe Texaslisa is just busy right now
It's going to be a long week. Just spent the last couple of hours with my neighbor around the corner having a couple of beers and discussing plans for the coming week to keep each other safe. So sorry you and your family are going through this. We will both be remembering you all in our prayers. Keep safe and strong.
