Texas

Seriously, after reading what Allen and Sean wrote I had decided what I was going to have when I got out. Allen painted such an appetizing verbal picture it made me hungry. Alas, when I got out after seeing the doc I had to go to the bakery and settle for a muffin and coffee.
Poor guy I hope it wasn't a bran muffin.

So I have a real chicken question now:
I have two gals who have repeatedly gone broody. When I get my clutch of silkie eggs should I just pull them off the roost in the evening and lock them in the dog kennel which happens to be everyones favorite laying spot overnight with the eggs? That is what the wife and I are thinking is the best way to get one of the two back into broodiness.

Currently we have them broken from brooding and they are free ranging with the rest of the flock, but not laying. Also they love scorpions(big plus there) when we find them.

I'm just hopimg the 20V Vmax series will be better. Bought those just now so might be selling some stocks so the wife doesn't get too annoyed. I did mention my tools are 25 years old.
Follow on post my wife isn't too upset about the money I spent on this toolkit. I do not need to sell any stocks since hurricaine season will be here soon and her logic says yes we needed more drills and light sets. So cool!

Carne gusiado de Kiki.

I chunk up a shoulder, pot roast, a big Chuck of beef.

I first brown it real quick to get the sticky stuff in my pan.
I add a large onion and bell pepper. Big pieces. A couple smaller diced up tomatoes and a few pieces of garlic.
Cook that for a few minutes then add this:

Cover with water and let it cook for an hour plus til it is good and tender.
