Texas

pictures of orange blossoms please! It is a dreary day in the swamps.
I wish I could send you photos I'm not familiar with the app I also wish I could send you the scent of these orange blossoms.
The last winter for me in North Texas was the winter of 82' - 83' we got a little over 2' of snow and it stayed on the ground for over a month in the shade of the creek beds. That's what made me finally pull up roots and move South.
Wow and I just remember the summer of 83 in north Texas it was something special!

completely dried up, but I was still mowing lawns for money.

Sorry I've gone radio silent just life and we have a cat in heat who is driving me insane I hope all is well and I'm trying out the app because my computer just died. We have another 11 new chicks and I'm telling my wife we can't let anymore broody hens sit eggs as I don't need any more chicks.just happy we have the bachelor digs ready for all the new roosters I'm sure we will have.
I just had a kitten fixed. I'm not a cat person but we rescued her from one of our boxers (they still hate each other; separate areas of the house). Now all her relatives are hanging out with the chickens. Beats rats and snakes I guess.
I empathize with your broody plight. I have 4 hens of various breeds that love to brood. (And now I have their daughters too.)
I gave away 17 cockrells and one rooster this past year. (Can't eat my own) I was fortunate to find people who wanted them. And so were most of them...most are still living and breeding. Lol. Spring will be fun.

We are so similar we don't eat our chicken nor do we eat the eggs softies here too! We do use the eggs though as a dog food substitute in hopes they will protect them better.
