Bye Bye pineapples. I should go outside and drink a coke it would be a new experience not having a sweaty coke bottle or can for once.

On a positive note when I looked at my last main computer(seemingly bricked by a major MS update) it came back to life(blinking lights were blinky again) and is putting out video once more. I was looking for the model number to order a replacement barebones kit. So happy to be back up to full speed vs an old feet drag the floor laptop. It now got a BIOS update and fully up to date so the MS October update issues got fixed. It was hard to fix the old issue as without video output what can you do? Sure I could have tried to reinstall to a secondary partition but nah it never made it to my list of desires and I could have attempted a safe mode but couldn't be assed. I should probably look at investing my money into 10th generation Intel stuff but naa for the moment 7th hits the right price point for me.

Anyone do Linux? I could set up a dual boot as insurance but that is not my flavor of OS. I just know there are free flavors of Linux.

Follow on to my PC issues I just ordered some simple things to do PC tech repair again. Really isn't something I ever wanted to do in life , but after having a system down is worth it. That was my life from the early 90's until 2007. Regardless the tools to fix my previously mentioned pc issues were only 40 bucks...... worth the investment to future proof. as https://www.theregister.com/2020/11/30/microsoft_in_brief/ broke my pc for a while.

I really had to resist urges on newegg to buy more and get silly but we have a budget I shall not break animal vaccination season is coming up soon for us with the dogs and cats. And the feed bill is non negotiable you pay or you don't get feed around here.

I devoted time and resources to Republic Services that charge 1$ per day to collect trash. That would be fine if I used 95/gallons per week of trash. This is a 10 gallon per week household. Plus any bulk trash I throw to the curb but do not. I am thinking now I can load a trashcan full of rock now to break their trucks. Regardless DW is not on board with burn bags.

That's why I discontinued my trash pickup, too much $$$....so had my neighbor come over with his D7 CAT and scoop me out a pit to burn in....but I'm in the boonies, not in a colonia!

We already have a burn pit scooped out. DW does not like me burning plastics until I say they do not kill sea life when they get burned they break down faster that way and cannot harm sea life. 500 years in a landfill vs. burned in an evening. We don't live in Germany any longer with 5 trash cans.

Boonies and Colonias are about the same we don't have any city rules to deal with. No rooster regulations or HOA rules.

El gringo!

Talking about the colonias apparently we have made a neighborhood change as we have installed bright floodlighting. It was apparently a show of wealth and our neighbors are doing the same now 2 years later. I don't get it but apparently it is a point of pride for some folks around here. We do not use 100w/hour at night here in lighting the place up we are after scorpion deterrence using LED bulbs.

That and I do not want folks driving by to be able to look on my property when it is dark. As it blinds them. One hundred bucks in bulbs isn't a show of wealth in my book. We probably spend more cash per hour streaming power to the pc than anything else.

Going on a tweating my own horn, "how many of us can make a grilled cheese pickle an mustard sammie at 3AM"in your sleep?

No

The thought of that Sammie is curling my toes...
Ok so not Whataburger's number one fan? I get it but for my sense of taste if you put ketchup or mayo on a burger you are voted off my island. I am fond of HEB brands dijon mustard, I prefer Lowensenf from Hessen but my international isle at my SuperHEB just stopped stocking it.
