Shetland sheep are one of the northern European short-tailed breeds of sheep, and I was told they had the highest numbers of registrations in the US last year. Painted Desert Sheep are very attractive, what are their temperaments like?
Angela PD's are pretty flighty except I have one that was bottle raised that is very friendly, I can pet her. I see the Shetlands have some painted coloring too :)

Some of the Shetlands are flighty, too. Most of mine are tame little cookie-loving, tail-wagging pets.
