Good lookin roo

Yes, nice.  What line is he?

Thanks guys! Im very proud of him! As for a line... not too sure!I got him from a guy who got him from a guy that had them freerangin. I was told the only reason this roo was caught was because he had just made a step up in the bracket.... if ya know what I mean...
he is good with kids!

He looks like he could be a pure Bates Grey line. He is nice what ever he is.

I actually cooked homemade dog food today. Husband will roll his eyes when he comes home. I had dropped off two at the vet to see the cardiologist and needed to get more dog food. I occasionally question what I am feeding...why the dogs sometimes just flat refuse to eat it...how do I know what the best food is for them and what the heck is in the bags anyways and where are they getting their ingredients (the few that I can actually tell are real food items on the label) so I did some surfing and found a reasonable, simple and easy to prepare recipe with variation on the meat veggies and carbo and I will transition to it and see how it goes. Three of my four are senior two have heart issues (they are cavaliers and thats a given) one has bladder stone issue. So controlling the sodium is important (in both directions) and making it digestible for older dogs.
Good for you! Just remember to keep it simple, you don't have to cook the meat and the veggies, rice or anything else don't have to be added everyday. My dogs do best when they just get raw chicken and the occasional raw veggies.

dust IN the coop or out? We had bait down.. think the rain did a number for sure! and totally forgot about DE! Thanks!!

Hello back2simelife, just noticed your post on fire ants. We do use seven dust from time to time but Borax seems to work good too. It's environmentally safe and doesn't seem to bother our chickens. You can find it at most any grocery store's with the soaps.
