Texas

I did it about 4 years ago, worked great, lost a lot of weight, but it had a side effect that after 4 months, I was not willing to do anymore and once I stopped I gained it ALL back. Now I eat paleo foods, started back in March, I "cheat" on the weekends but am still losing weight, feeling great and best of all, not hungry and never feel unfulfilled.

Yep paleo totally works! Does not leave you hungry and the weight stays off! It saved my life while the doctors stood by taking my money and letting me rot away. Yae Paleo!

It's so dry out here. We've been under a burn ban here in East TX for weeks... Hopefully we won't have many of these.
We should all go clean our trucks with Q-tips.lol That will make it rain for sure. When Bastrop and stiener ranch was on fire we had other several small one around us to. It was so scary. It seemed like all of Texas was on fire. I had a view from my house of stiener and it looked like a volcano at night.

Quote: And even though paleo can be expensive it is WAY cheaper than Medifast, if you have a family you need to feed then a no brainer. Plus it is a lot more flexible, such as, most Paleo's eaters do not allow milk products, however, that was one line I was not going to cross. By allowing myself to eat cheese (I don't do milk anyway) and butter, it has allowed me to stick to it better. So mine is kind of more "primal" foods (they do allow cheese). Either way, you have to find something you can stick with for a long time and this is working GREAT for me. It is the longest I have ever stuck with one way of eating, cuz it is easy

Plus, I love eating new foods, such as roasted radishes (yep yummy) and Cauliflower mash taters (had that last night and OMG, it was the bomb). Then who can beat slow cooked pork roast, with onions, pineapple and jalapenos?????

Yes, if you source your food produce out with special care you actually eat less making it cheaper in the long run to eat. It cuts out fillers the body does not need. Plus saves a ton of money at the docs office. Paleo/Ketogenic Diet is the best health care plan you can buy into in my opinion. Way better than any plans our lovley gov. has planned out for us. Planned ha ha that's a good one.

No docs telling me to take some toxic pill

Boy howdy... All the electronics in my life went on strike last week - internet line at home went out, cell phone crashed and burned, etc. I haven't been on here since last Wednesday and you folks have been BUSY! And I'm not talking about the number of posts... Feeling a little contentious lately, are we?

Must be something in the air... I have had ZERO eggs in the last 4 days. ZERO. From 28 hens that are all past POL. (grumble)

That sucks! Hey, are you still doing FF? Was just wondering, asked the other girls, and looked for you but you were MIA. I talked to Bee and she pretty much sold me on the whole thing. Fed it to them for the first time today and they were almost fighting over it. It was amazing!

Yep! Still feeding FF, and my birds go nuts over it. Bee's the one who sold me on it too. :)
