I have a New Hampshire Red that is 30 weeks old and still has not laid an egg!    Her sisters, a golden sex link & Plymouth rock the same age, have been laying  an egg a day for months.   Has anyone else had this problem?  

Yes I have a white leg horn that is around 30 weeks and seems satisfied to just tree range all day and give orders to the other hens. Gosh it's frustrating

Has anyone tried growing Amaranth? Some are edible and some are ornamental. I want to try the edible kind.

Would be good for chickens too I would think. Lots of vitamins and such. Not sure if it is on the list of foods they can eat though.

Not yet - have some seed for it though.

Tried quinoa this fall but none of it sprouted at all. I thinned my arugula last week and the chickens loved that. Have hoops over my garden beds and am trying winter gardening for the first time this year.

It was $50 for 110 pictures, my wife gave me the recount. I had 2 sons, both are 6 ft.

In my culture, the dragon represents the symbol of a strong male, while the phoenix means the female. The internet was acting up yesterday so I could not finish the posting with more pix. I was amazed with the fruit tray when they made up the 2 symbols with all natural fruit. The mouth of the dragon was the curving of string bean.

Not looking good so far Alabama already scored and caught an interception. And only 7 minutes off the play clock. But the so owners just intercepted it back. Lol ohh my

I was reading about the soil which made me wonder about it. Dang gumbo clay!

I am ordering my seeds from Baker Creek Seeds. I ordered from there last year and everything but my zucchini did really well. I am trying a different variety of that this year.

Has anyone grown onions from seed?
