Welcome to BYC Sqwidy! Your chicks are so cute! I would like an olive egger and maran eventually. All I have at this moment are rhode island reds and leghorns. I am fairly new as well. My babies are 12 weeks old and they do grow quickly! I love them and I am so anxious for our first eggs!

Stella I am so happy to hear you have graduated! Hooray Congratulations!

Zukeypur your coop is adorable and love your babies! Very cute!

All the information and posts are so great!
Thaaaanks! :)

Here is a picture of my coop! I went from being close to tears because I couldn't use a circular saw to building a coop! I am quite a bit over budget, and I am planning on painting it dark gray, because I'm not too crazy about the current color.

And here are the inhabitants. They are staying in the coop in a Rubbermaid, and enjoyed the warm weekend playing in the run with my 5 year old.

Looks like you did a wonderful job on the coop. If I wasn't able to free range I would want something like what you built.

That's an adorable little coop. I'm sure your girls will enjoy it very much so!!

Thanks for the compliments! I'll be sure to post a pic after it's completely painted. I got some chacoal gray paint for the siding, and i'm planning on eventually painting the door and the nesting box orange. I am waiting for Ace hardware to have their free quart of paint special again.
