Texas

They have been laying for over 2 months and they are not nearly as prolific egg layers as my buffs were. My orpingtons only stopped laying when they went broody. They laid all winter long.
I remember when my EE's started laying. They were small. Now, they are fairly large. My Buffs and PBRS have been laying about 2 months, but their egg size hasn't caught up, it is a matter of time. It will happen.

Hello from Austin! We are new to the area. Can anyone point me towards a good place to look for runner ducks locally?

Just checking in! I'm still alive over here. It's been busy busy around our place. New additions, add ons, fencing, long hours at work, etc.

Georgetown feed store gets them in the spring. I don't know if anyone that has any this time of year though. You can always order from Ideal and drive up there to pick them up. They are in Cameron. Welcome from Round Rock, I also have ducks.

Hi TaraE,

My daughter-in-law has family in Canyon Lake - I don't know if they have chickens.... I, on the other hand, live in just plain Canyon, TX.
