Noooooo- that's not what I'm trying to do. It's hard to explain....wish I could talkOkay. Go to my coop build thread. You can *See*:
— how I dug a trench
— Prep’d the hardware cloth on fence “down into trench”
— filled in around the HC & culvert
*stone/rock/brick parts/ gravel is your friend here

take note of the fact the culvert goes under the width of the Run, right next to the fence/ wall of run & small inner back yard. Gutter drains into this culvert.
alternative is wrap culvert with wire (hardware cloth?) and wire or zip tie to the tight wire/hardware cloth snuggly encasing the culvert.Drill holes in the Culvert and use those handy metal zip ties.
I was assuming the culvert was metal, like the ones under residential driveways. But I agree that drilling concrete sucks!alternative is wrap culvert with wire (hardware cloth?) and wire or zip tie to the tight wire/hardware cloth snuggly encasing the culvert.
Wrap culvert.
Attach chain link to the wrapping holding culvert.
Clear?
I don't like drilling concrete, but is doable. Is the coop predator proof or will you have to reinforce it for stand alone?
Are we helping or confusing you?
