Also freaking awesome we are going to be at 109 to 111 heat index today ..... I have to get chicks out of the garage this weekend. Either in with the 8 week olds or the unfinished brooder.

Still no rain either and none in the forecast for down here.

Thanks so much for the welcome! I am enjoying my new adventure in being a "Chicken Tender" LOL. I live smack in the middle of town in Burnet County and I think I am the only one in my neighborhood who has a tiny sweet little flock of chickens. The ordinance says I can have up to six hens but no roosters. I have four hens. I look forward to learning from you all!

And all the Cackle chicks that are 3 weeks and 2 days old are now out with the 8 week olds from Star's and the incubator hatch. Plus the TSC bantams.
