Sandhill Preservation Center has Buckeye but it looks like they're sold out for 2025. I would shoot them an email and ask to be notified if they wind up having any extra hatch.

I believe they have a 25 chick minimum (not 100% on that) but when I ordered from them, my order of 25 turned into 35 + 6 ducks. Sadly, the mail center nearest me that often screws me over held the package for an extra 24 hours. I lost all 6 ducks and three of the chicks, but still came out well ahead. That was back in May and I've read that when it's hotter, chicks in the mail do better.

Either way, Sandhill has Buckeyes but you may have to wait til next year. I have emailed with them before and found it you're patient for a response, they do try to be helpful.

Sorry to hear that, ATX. I've had a couple cases of bumblefoot in my flock in the past. Vetwrap, non-stick bandages and moleskin are good supplies to have on hand, plus a 'helper' unless you've got a very cooperative chicken. Husband performed some surgery, I think once or twice, but we also have vets in the area who will see/treat bumblefoot if needed. Lots of info here on BYC, too. Sending healing vibes your way:fl
