She could be a california white they have black spots.... ideal also has a breed they made called ideal 236 that also has black spots but not as many as the other... you can post the pics on the "what breed/sex is my chicken" thread.

I will let you know GamGam. I probably will give him away, but the Silkies are just so sweet and funny, I get attached to them and don't want to let them go...lol. He is a hatchery bird though. I felt sorry for these guys sitting in their little tubs and bought them. The Sebrights were ill, but the Silkies were nice and healthy. I will post some photos later in the day so you can see how the two roos look.TexasChick, I would love to take him if you decide to get rid of your buff silkie roo. I am wanting to get some silkies but didn't want to buy them from a hatchery. I am going to try to find someone local that I can pick them up or meet halfway. I live in Kountze so I am not too far from you. I am thinking about trying to get like 10/11 females and 1 roo. I would like to get them when they are young. He is the right age for me. Please let me know.
