Thanksgiving Day Hatch, anyone?

Here is my 1st baby chick I have ever hached out and it happened this afternoon!!!!

Nothing going on here, I think im going to pip the end of the duck
egg to see if it died or not or if it even broke to air sac yet. Its day 28
I mean it couldnt hurt much could it?

I had one rocking and peeping yesterday but then we had to leave to go to my in-laws. I won't be back home till late tonight. It's driving me crazy. I can't wait to see what's going on in the bator!!

Well, its dead. It was deformed and didnt have any eyes. So
much for that LOL

Well, I thought I was done with 17 button babies. Last one hatched last night around 6 or 7ish. I was getting ready to go out for my afternoon feedings and heard one crying. I looked in the brooder and they were all asleep

I thought 'no way?' Sure enough there is another baby button in the incubator!! So that gives me 18!

Nope, no problem with temps at all, the highest it hit was 103 and it was
only for about 7 mins, its was pretty stable from there on.
