1. I am thankful for my parents. I know that sounds cheesy, but really, parents get taken for granted too often.
2. I am thankful for my life and the opportunities I have been blessed with
3. I am thankful for my grandparents, all of which are still alive. A lot of people don’t have grandparents, and they have taught me so much.
4. I am thankful for my friends, both my Christian and non-Christian friends, and my BYC friends
5. I am thankful to live in America. Not intended to be political or anything, just that my family and I are blessed to live in this great country
6. Food, of course! Having enough to eat, and having good food to eat. Water too, that gets taken for granted.
7. Indoor plumbing :lau !! Hot water heaters!
8. I’m thankful for all my animals, especially my cat Remington and my chickens. There is a lot that can be learned from them.
9. This might sound odd, but I am grateful for…trees. More specifically, I am grateful that I have a big forest in my backyard that I can explore, and every time I go outside, I can see the beautiful nature. I am thankful for all of God’s creation, but especially the trees.
10. Most importantly, I am thankful for Jesus, like others have said.

1.) I am thankful for Jesus. He chose me when nobody else did. There is nothing like the love of Christ.
2.) I am thankful for my youth pastor who was strict, but in a really good way. He is the one that got me into doing Bible studies. Without having the base foundations set, I don't know where I would be.
3.) I am thankful for my parents. When they are stressed, they try their best to hide it, yet when I am stressed, they catch on right away.
4.) I am thankful for my siblings and all those good memories we have together. Those are memories that I could share for generations.
5.) I am thankful for my home and the resources I have. I am thankful for education, chickens, dogs, a nice big yard, dental needs, etc.
6.) I am thankful for BYC and for all those who have helped me in the past! I have learned so much from this website, its unbelievable!
7.) I am thankful for 4H. I love the system. Even though this is my first year and I joined the hardest project, it was all worth it! I LOVE every bit of it! The getting dirty, the pulling myself out of bed while it is still dark outside, the cleaning the stalls, the leader, the members, they are all amazing.
8.) I am thankful for being able to have set my life straight before I did something I truly regret. I know my main goal in life and I am working towards that. I am thankful to be able to realize that early on.
9.) I am thankful to have not lost anyone to Covid this or last year. I know it has been really hard for many people. I am so thankful for that.
10.) Lastly, I am thankful for being able to expand out and be able to HAVE hobbies. I am thankful for my parents (again) who have been willing to "sponser" my many hobbies. And trust me, it wasn't easy. I am the kind of person that tries everything at least once, but rarely sticks with it, unless it is fun. For example, I have tried knitting, wood burning, whittling, pottery, gardening, baking, painting, etc. I only really stuck with drawing, playing instruments, and reading books. Its probably not a very good personality to have. I may still pick up some of the things I have tried in the past, especially wood burning and painting. But yes, I am thankful to be able to choose and choose what I want to believe in and what I want to become.

I’m thankful for:
1. My family and friends, on and off BYC
2. My awesome job, and great opportunities ahead
3. My amazing coworkers, who make life great, but unfortunately have all refused to join BYC
4. All my chickens and quail, and for being led to raise these amazing creatures in the first place
5. My goat herd, for goofy antics and for all the little ones to be born this spring
6. All of my pets, but especially my cat, LittleBit, who is my best friend and constant companion
7. A safe house to call home and a reliable car to take me where I need to go
8. Hobbies, but especially books, and for finally learning how to crochet
9. Blue skies and sunshine
10. Jesus, my strength when I have none of my own, and the one who encourages me to keep going every day

I’m thankful for:
1. Jesus. I thank Him every day for His amazing condescension and sacrifice to save us from sin, Satan, and self. This is what Christmas is all about.
2. I’m thankful for my wonderful family, both immediate and extended. I’ll be meeting some family on my dad’s side (second-cousins and such) for the first time next Saturday night.
3. I’m thankful for all my best friends, both here on BYC and otherwise. Don’t know what I’d do without them.
4. I’m thankful for living out in the country! It’s so wonderful to have lots of room to roam about wherever you like. Also we are outside the nearest town’s city limits, so there really aren’t any restrictions on poultry keeping or any animals really. This leads to #5…
5. I’m thankful for my animals! They are such fun creatures and have helped me learn a lot. God’s creation is wonderful!
6. I’m thankful for living in a country that still allows some freedoms at least. God bless America!
7. I’m thankful for the wonderful hobby of birdwatching/birding. It has taken me places I never thought I would go, helped me do things I never thought I would, and has given me experiences I never would have dreamed of!
Also it’s a lot of fun! ;)
8. I’m thankful for my photography equipment and the wonderful sponsors who have helped me get it.
9. I’m thankful for good times, old memories, funny stories, and just overall holiday cheer this time of year.
10. I’m thankful for my new bike! :D What a wonderful Christmas present.

@cherrynberry what 4-H activity are you doing? I do poultry and have dabbled in a few others.

Hello everybody! I'm loving all the gratitude!
I am in the market project for goats, breeding project for swine, and market swine. I wanted to join poultry too, but I don't think they provide what I am looking for. Sounds fun though!
