Yea i candle mine too alot coz i just want them to come out! And i like to see how they develop everyday and its so Cool!

There you are..I was just going to go back to the other thread..or message you to see if you were going to join..you have! So, now we know about the time you should send me some eggs..right? Yeah right! If the P.O. gets it right this time. Let's hope so. Eggs to be set by the 29th..I'm thinking they will take three days to get here.

Gotcha on the list. Just need a total on how many you want for sure. Averaging about a dozen eggs a day from 17 hens (1 of which is 6 yrs old & rarely lays any more but makes a good broody for my call duck eggs).

@thebirdguy Are you NPIP & would you be willing to swap any eggs? I have ancona, calls, slates, palm covered by slate & rainbow layers laying now.

To whoever asked what a Rainbow Layer was: It is a collection of breeds with widely varied feather & egg colors bred together to deliberately produce even more variety. I have collected as many hens of different colors as I can laying chocolate, olive, khaki, green, blue, several shades of brown, cream & 1 who lays white. All 3 of my roos are different but all 3 carry blue/green egg genes. You never know what will pop out of the egg or what color it will lay.
