Well that is what a small egg then?
I have been using these 2.5 oz salad cups, about 2" long.
I cut a small hole in the side of the lid, put the probe in fill with water and then tape the top on and tape at the wire going in. More like a Large/XL egg, but that is mostly what we incubate so I figure its as close as I will get it without getting technical and using whats on hand.

I was going to silicone, but it works well so I didnt bother, I just make sure the probe is in the middle of it.
We had discussed somewhere if oil would be a better liquid to use, thoughts and suggestions, something that wont go bad obviously ha ha ha
It works just fine then.
Use the water wiggle probe!

Today is set day for Bobwhite Quail!
Alright, now we are to that time when we need to start recording egg numbers.
When you are finished setting ALL of your eggs, please post in this thread, how many total eggs you set for this Hatchalong. (anything +/- 2 days from set day counts)
If you ended up not setting any eggs, please also let us know, so we can record it and know when the count is done.
If you can, post pictures of the eggs you set. (Because we all love looking at pretty eggs in an incubator) If you have a broody, don't worry about it unless you take the picture before you give them to your broody.
You have images of the box, there is $50. max insurance on the box, dont hesitate to start a claim with any damage to a box. but praying for good eggies!!
