We plan on Saturday, but give +/- 2 days leeway for the contests. A lot of people go out of town on Easter, so we want them to be included too!I'm confused... if I set eggs on March 12, day 19 (hatch day) will be on Saturday... not Sunday. So, I guess I just set on the 13th?
Looks like 12 beautiful eggs to me.Oops.... I only went to get 12 eggs but accidentally came home with 32... just don’t know how it happened..

If it is a hovabator with turner, it holds 42 eggs..........unless you stack them of course. My incubator is full. Can’t remember how many the turner holds right off. I’ll go check in a few. Of course I’m getting duck eggs tomorrow but I didn’t find them in time to set for the EHAL![]()
Does anyone know what the maximum weight capacity for the brinsea octagon 20 autoturner is?....
I know it's a week late, but today I acquired a peahen egg, so I will be setting it.
Current weight - 112.03 grams.
Target weight - 95.23 grams
What does a white peahen look like?Hen is white, but she's in with a white and a blue male, so if it hatches it will probably be white or blue.
Nope, not too late!Would ot be too late to set standard chicken eggs?
Yeppers! Welcome! So I didn't plan on it, but on the ninth, I found a hen on a dead nest. She's now setting for Easter (Eggers). May I join?
But they are oh so beautiful!I set 2 Silver Ameraucana eggs today, so I'm in! Pitiful numbers, I know.
You are good! Welcome!I's been a while since I was here. How time flies. I set eggs on the 8th. Mine will hatch early but if I can join that would be great. I set 25 eggs.. Just let me know if I can join along. If not, no biggie. They're gonna hatch either way. lol
I thought it was a homemade cone until you said that and looked again.Wait, is that what I think it is around that pups neck?! Lol
Shh Chooks don’t give me any ideas! Them kinda ideas get me in trouble lolIf it is a hovabator with turner, it holds 42 eggs..........unless you stack them of course.
When they act like a alligator with rabies it's usually a pretty good indicator, Lol.
I had a known broody today refuse to let me take a couple eggs from her. Tried shooing her out, thumped on nest box, poked her with a stick, tried prying her out with stick, she just growled at me and rolled the eggs back under her and puffed up. I had cloth work gloves on, but I still don't like getting bit, need a big leather welding glove or raptor glove in those cases, Lol.
I'll probably let her set on those two eggs for a couple of days then remove them and toss a fresh bunch under her.
