The 9th Annual BYC Easter Hatchalong!

My second batch of guinea eggs look like little spiders right now!
And after the fark up by the post office that killed 17 out of 18 juvenile quail, i am pleased to report that i have at least 10 baby quail hatched!
I am planning to build another incubator because the guinea eggs are piling up and my other 2 incubators are full!

Keets are adorable!

My Brinsea has a little knob with a slot. I put my fingernail in there and turn it up or down as needed.
Brinsea brooder plate as an alternative to the heat bulb. It seems that many on here do a DIY with a heat pad from a store.

Both have advantages from heat bulbs.

I have two of the 20 plates and one of the small premier1 plates.

Good video about the brinsea plate:

Can you find the bunny?

I looked over it several times, but I found the bunny.

Sharing a few photos of one of my favorite girls. She is a sweetheart. Culumbian Rock. Love her body shape. Has a cute full skirt from behind. View attachment 1304537
Beautiful!

I also have the small one of these, I love it and it wonderful for school hatching because the kids don't get burn by touching it mine is several years old now.

They are great! The chicks do wind up better able to take temperatures too.
