I'm thinking about getting hatching eggs for a blue line to improve the silvers I'm getting.

And they are gone, down to bantam pick #2 and #4. Hope to get more bantam eggs in the spring silver and blue.

Tomorrow I'll be down to my two silver LF, 1 blue LF and 1 Black LF from the spring hatch.

Almost all are gone. I missed a few cockerels of the mixed varieties and the bantam polish when loading up the guy that came for the free ones.

The age old problem faced by breeders everywhere

My poor Indra being comforted with endless cuddles. She was attacked by a weasel the other night/morning, which sadly claimed 2 of our Ameraucana chicks & 1 Green Egger chick. This little girl is suffering from wry neck now. I was able to get her started on flock recovery 911 yesterday via syringe. This morning she JUMPED out of her bin, she has been eating & drinking finally, and she comes waddling back to me for more cuddles when she's done. Literally overnight. Yesterday she was trying to walk (to get to us), but still couldn't keep her balance. (Yes, I have been trying to limit her movement so she can heal.) Today she's fully walking & keeping balance although it's a slow & steady walk. I'm so proud of this little girl!! I was devastated when I thought she wasn't going to make it.
