AC Rooster crossed with a Black Araucana would produce 100% All Black chicks...

Ah, I ment the silver/black barred with solid silver hackles/saddles and the barred silver or white/red with the solid red hackels and saddles. I like that version even tho they are not sex linked.

The best example of a breed using this pattern(Silver lacing on a black feather background, it would have been nice to see them on gold based too) is the Iowa Blue breed

It's a Simple Autosomal Recessive trait, it give a beautiful gloss to the egg shell

The answers of many of your questions can be found on many of my previous remarks about egg color variation in brown egg shells.

Basically anything that affect the brown deposition will change the green shade. Feed, Sunlight exposure, Egg laying cycle.

It's periodically with her, she laid dark olive yesterday, she just laid me an olive with blue coating today.
Feed's been the same, & daylight has been increasing. Blue coated egg, I wettened in the middle to show it's olive.
