That top roost looks to close too the wall to me.

I'm not as confident as the others that there are a bunch of roosters mixed in. You shouldn't worry, yet...

OK.....so today we got our nest box doors on and working.

Things are coming along....tonight I'll be priming and painting more trim for the vents, which hopefully we'll be putting up tomorrow or Friday. Slow and steady wins the race!

These are the stacking storage boxes we found at Lowe's for $7.90 each that look like they were made for being nest boxes. All we have to do is cute little square holes in the backs of each one, and we'll have instant access to the eggs from the outside of the coop.

Are you going to put holes in the backside of the nest boxes so you can reach in from the outside?

Looking really GREAT. I wish I would have painted my 2 x 4 roosts. They do get poopy, usually from their feet.
