That picture is adorable! Oh, and thank you for the compliment. Wish I could take credit but, as you can see, Black Mesa Ranch in Snowflake, AZ is the one responsible for breeding such wonderful animals. They are the only certified goat dairy in Arizona and I am extremely lucky to only be about a 45 min. drive away. By the way, they make great goat cheese!

Years ago, I had a Nubian, she was such a sweetie. She played with my dogs and came in the house, used a litter box and rode in my car sitting in the front seat.

I plan to get 2 or 3 this year for milk .

Ok, my two cents.

I have never owned a mean goat, I won't say there aren't mean goats out there, but I've never owned one. One note on that, if you have a young kid and play rough w/ it, it will still want to play rough even as an adult.

Does and wethers do not stink, not any worse then any other farm animal. Bucks do.

If you've got good fence's they are not alot of trouble, you may sometimes get a jumber, and they can be problems. They do test the fence alot.

They don't eat everything, different goats like different things, and there are things they will eat, they like paper and will chew trees, and any plant you don't want them to have (but if they are in there pen, none of that should be a problem).

So I think that covers most of it, over all w/ good fences they are alot of fun to have! Full of personality and very entertaining!

Ok MissJames here is the scoop. I don't care what anyone else says except my Dr. and he says my blood pressure is much better. He is now prescribing 31 Chickens and 11 goats for people with high blood pressure!

Lower blood pressure: True
Prescribing animals: Been that way for more years than we been here!

Thanks MissJames! Check on Craigs list for goats. I have gotten some great deals there. If you are looking for a well bred goat then check the for sale section at the bottom of the index. If you don't find what you want the go to the wanted section and post there. My Wife and I just found a mini-donkey here!
