The Evolution of Atlas: A Breeding (and Chat) Thread

DH checked on her this morning and all five chicks have hatched! I'm still getting rid of the remnants of this inconvenient headache, but when the sun is up, we will move them all to the other side. Great job, Rachel! She had me worried there for awhile.

Terrific news! We are all so proud of Rachel! I hope the move into their new digs goes well.

How do you treat your migraines Cyn? Are you on any medication for them?

I have muscle relaxers and oxycodone, the big guns. Sometimes those have to have an antihistamine added. Just one of those things. If I can keep the nausea from starting, I don't have to go to the ER.

Everyone is moved. Deacon has Sammie Jo and I gave him the two black girls, Wendy and Robin. Atlas doesn't need them.

Managed a few pictures for you that love babies. I think there are just two different chicks pictured here, but I didn't want to bother her to find them all under there, and I won't even venture a guess any real guesses on sex on them until I see them all together. Atlas himself looked like a pullet at first. The Stukel line is harder to sex than your average hatchery Rock.
