I will get a picture of the egg posted later!!!:D:wee

Got ALOT of rain today! Makes for some very wet chickies and happy duckies lol!

Also, I forgot to mention in earlier posts, after fair we had to separate Kiwi (SLW roo) from the other roosters in the rooster flock because he started fighting aggressively with Mr. Stella (birchen cochin bantam roo)!! They never fought before so we thought it was just from being apart for a while at fair, when we added Razzy, there was suprisingly not much fighting at all between him and Mr. Stella and Winston (Salmon Faverolle roo). So Kiwi is living in the horses feild now/the old outdoor bunny area and hutch, until we get another outdoor bunny so, will keep you updated with him!

Also, I will try to post updates more often so STAY TUNED!!

Sorry for the long wait but here's some news!
Phasma (barred rock bantam pullet) has been being quite mysterious...she disappears at night. We were so worried when we could'nt find her the first night but the next morning she came back and was waiting by the coop door to go in!?!? This has been going on for 2 or 3 days now I believe, she's getting through the fence, at least we know that and we're going to patch it but I'm wondering if she's broody somewhere and returning there to nest?? At least she's safe, we will be patching the fence!

UPDATE AFTER MONTHS

:barnieI have yet to follow my promise of updating more often, but it WILL happen! Anyway, Phasma was actually sitting on a clutch of eggs, unfortunately they were infertile so had no probability of hatch. Latley we have been dealing with some molters, so everyone looks like hedgehogs! We also just put up clear plastic on the sides of the run for the winter to help keep snow out of the run but allow sun to still get in (got the idea from an article here on BYC!!). Look forward to more updates in the near future!

Hello @Gavinthesheep735! It's been quite sone time again, haha life's busy! But I do have lots of news! Mostly everyone (except poor Raven) have molted out! I am a little worried about her as she hasn't molted yet and winter is almost over! But other than that she seems to be in good health, as is everyone else too!
Oh and guess what time of year it is, I think we all know, CHICK SEASON!:celebrate We were 0% planning on getting chicks this year...so much for that, lol! Just today we brought home 4 babies from Shiptons!:jumpy I prepared myself because I knew we weren't getting chicks, but Shiptons had these lovely chicks called "Sapphire Gem" and my mom and I couldn't resist! Not getting any chicks means no pullets to show at fair this year so I'm excited to get that oppertunity now! Will post pics and updates!! I am thinking of creating a separate thread for the chicks though so I will post the link here when I get that started so you can keep up with more chick-centered cuteness!
Oh wow, sorry for the long post! Thanks so much for reading if you made it this far!:clap
