Adeline remained standing, but took her eyes off him to look up at the peak of Mount Mandalla. She didn't say anything back to Silv, and the clearing was plunged into a silence broken only by the sounds of their combined breathing. It didn't take an idiot to know that the longer they waited, the more prepared Pelendava would be. Unknown to Silv and much of the Pelendavian warriors themselves, she knew exactly how Camilla operated, and how she would react to three attacks, one ending in the murder of one of her closest friends, in a relatively short period of time. She was rolling, and she wasn't going to stop until she found the culprit. Hense the reason that Adeline was out here toying with death in the first place.

Although her mission was technically to find the killer, which she was sure that she had already, and bring him to justice. But deep down she really wanted to hurt Camilla, maybe not the entire city, but Camilla had it coming for her. Maybe the "plan" that she had been given by the queen herself could be modified a bit...

She knew better then that, Jasper would be disappointed. "No." She said eventually, after deciding not to stretch the lie too much with an explanation. He would see through it, she was sure of it. "I was just thinking, why haven't you claimed Caronia for youself? Lilith is a strong warrior no doubt, but why did you let her take it when Tenebrae died? What haven't you told me?"

The war, if it happened, would surely be brutal and bloody with high costs for both sides. But despite Caronia's reputation, she had to admit that Pelendava had the advantage, both in numbers and leadership. Lilith might have claimed the throne, but there were still Caronian's who rejected her leadership. They would have to be dealt with, swiftly and soon, before others followed their lead. "I like it, assuming Lilith manages to pull Caronia together and unite them. If she doesn't, however, you'll be right back where you started. A rogue, to put it bluntly. A rogue with no warriors and two kingdoms to defeat."
