What do ya'll think about adopting guinea pigs from Craigslist Pets?
I got Crockett (orange, black, and white Abyssinian) and his brother, Travis (RIP), from Craigslist 6 years ago when they were babies. A sweet girl had babies from her pregnant guinea pig. Crockett has turned out to be incredibly affectionate and has even picked his favorite human. During 'out of cage time," he follows my husband (whom Crockett has known since he was my boyfriend) around as if he were a dog
I picked up 2 guinea pigs last year. Hans (black & gray Satin Silkie) was separated by the Craigslist seller (a high school girl who didn't have a clue) from his cage mate. She had already sold his cage mate by the time I inquired about him. She sold the cage with it too. Hans was living in a cardboard box, hoping someone would take him home. Bowie (white, brown, black American Shorthair) was given to me by a Craigslist seller after several emails back and forth to check that I would give him a good home. He had lived alone all his life and seems to prefer being single to having a noisy, social Hans for a neighbor. Both were about 2 years old when I got them.

Hans decided to sit on my shoulder and watch TV.
Bowie eating dandelion leaves.
So far, I've had good luck with Craigslist. Anybody else?
