The Hidden Door-A Role Play (AKA The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop II)

"No clue. Can't seem to get a straight answer around here." Aella responded, coming directly behind the pink haired man from earlier. The darkness set the ginger at unease, flames glowering brightly the palms of her hands. Are the bushes moving? They're definitely moving...what the...?
As Take walked, suspiciously eyeing everything that moved, he could hear someone coming up behind him. Anxiety and stress overflowing him like one giant wave, he spun around quickly grabbing a fistful of the persons tank top strap. His scleras constricting as he stared intensely at the scar girl from earlier. Heat was collecting up his his fist fast, almost threatening to singe her shirt, and he ignored the fires that were in her palms. He was visibly distressed, “Don’t come up behind me like that Scarface” he snapped, letting go of her and shoving her to the side.

Kipp watched him storm away, his stomach turning. You're such a selfish jerk. He scolded himself. You could have said hi earlier. He sighed and fixed his gaze on the ground in front of him, his orange shoes still easily visible in the dim light, flickering in front of him with each step. The reddish brown detritus looked almost grey in comparison, the quickly vanishing light leaching all the color away. How do you always manage to screw things up?
Hana came alongside Kipp now, her pace keeping her up in the middle of the group instead of straying behind. She glanced down at the winged kid, who seemed conflicted as he kept his eyes glued to the ground. She didn’t address him, and quietly looked away, her vision become less and less effective in the darkness.

Kipp glanced up at the new girl that had decided to match his pace and walk with him. He stuffed his hands into his pockets and shrugged his shoulders up. Maybe if he just ignored her she'd go away. He sighed again, ignoring people is what caused the problem in the first place.

"Why are you wearing that mask? Were you burned by acid or something like that?" He asked, quoting The Princess Bride.

Fred shuffled along. He sighed waiting for someone to spot him
Rylie nudged him.
Kyle was satisfied by the overall lack of stragglers and caused the cat to go back to the front of the line, navigating the thick undergrowth with ease.
The forest was quiet, other than the steps of the people and the attempted conversation. Too quiet. Rylie's ears twitched, and his hackles were stiffening. He was on edge. Too often, he glared at a certain bush like he was certain something was there, looking back at them.

Cam wasn't happy with the forest's sudden change in mood, but at least it didn't seem to be showing any malicious tendencies. Not the trees themselves, anyway. Too many times did she see glittering eyes or a tail disappearing around a corner.
It was becoming rather crowded too, she couldn't walk around a tree without having to squeeze around a bush as well. "Ouch!" she said. A tree with blade-shaped leaves had given her a tiny scratch on the arm. She ripped off one of the leaves. It didn't seem very sharp, but it was paper-thin, and it did have some kind of edge. The scratch felt something bad, kind of like a paper cut.
She shoved this into her pocket-the one without her dirty socks. It was getting rather painful to walk since many of the bushes had interesting features -like inch-long thorns.
At this rate, I'm going to need someone to carry me, like Haddie does.

Kevin shook his head. “No, not just you.” He said, looking around. “Something’s not right. We’re not along here. Something’s watching us.” He said, even though it was probably obvious. He could’ve sworn he saw a large pair of yellow eyes hidden in one of the bushes, but when he looked again there was nothing.
“Uh, did you see that?”
"I felt it." Lilith's statement seemed so sure, but after a second a light pink lit up her cheeks, standing out against her pale skin. He doesn't know your powers, stupid. "I can feel what other people are feeling and about to do, and for a second... It was like I was seeing through someone else's eyes, watching us." She shook her head, glancing around wearily, sure there was a flicker of movement in the bushes. "We better find those boys soon." She murmured, hardly noticing as she brushed against a bush, it's sharp thorns drawing the slightest bit of blood. This place is getting really tight.

Aella hissed at his grasp, her entire arm and shoulder bursting into flames. "What is your problem?" She took a few steps back when he shoved her, looking him up and down. "You need to calm down, dude, I literally just walked behind you."

Cam noticed that it wasn’t just her barefooted self who was running into issues. Well. I’ll just have to fix that, then.
Could you open up a path for me and my friends?
she thought, directing her thoughts at the trees and plants around them. No answer. Please? she added.
Centuries old trees moaned in protest as they begrudgingly cleared a path through the forest. Cam was surprised by the ease of it, like the plants were more impressionable, like modeling clay ready to be molded. Cool.

As they made their way through the confining undergrowth, Nat suddenly threw her left arm over Colby's shoulders and pulled him close to her side.
He looked up quizzically and had to wince when he really looked at her face. Her smokey eyes looked fine enough -actually, super cool, especially in this low lighting- but he really wanted to wipe that horrid coral lipstick off. Usually, her color coordination wasn't this rough. But there was no way he was about to tell her and burst the pride she had in her sense of prettifying. Oh, well. At least it was produced without being tested on animals. He made sure to painstakingly check all of her products at least twice a month. "What's that for?"
"Nothing." The accursed orange lips pursed and made Colby hate them all the more. How exactly did one get lipstick off another person without them noticing?
"You scared?" he wondered innocently.
Nat facepalmed with her free hand and released him with a shove. "Fine, get overcome by bushes with malintent if you so desire."

Ellie walked up behind her “need any help?” She arched an eyebrow.
