Kipp stood gazing through the wavy, rippling darkness, his eyes focusing on what looked like a red metal shipping container. Despite his reluctance to face his family after being away for so long he missed home. Staying here had really only been considered an option if they had been unable to find a way back. Not that he dislike it here, once they had gotten rid of Olim, this place hadn't been all that bad. The locals were all more than appreciative, offering to let them stay with them, giving them clothes, and food, and really anything they could possibly want or need.
He felt bad accepting anything from them though, only took what he felt he needed. Which is how he wound up wearing the odd outfit he had on. Some kind of traditional formal wear for Harpies. Loose flowing pants with multiple belts, that would have been pointless if he hadn't been wearing a sword on his hip, and a bag on the other. He had been using it for medical supplies, but now it only held snacks.
The top if it could even be called that, consisted of a blue collar, supporting loose sleeves. It had taken him a while to stop fidgeting with the band, but now it felt normal enough. He would have preferred a real shirt though, still not comfortable showing of his bare stomach and chest.
His feathers had for the most part grown back in though his wings still looked a bit shorter than they should. Even though it would be harder to prove what had happened here, he was glad that the healers had been able to get rid of the marks from his short visit to Olim's work camp.
He sighed breathing in the cool air as it passed over his face. It was time to go home.
Kipp looked over at Take, he suspected he'd want to stay. Though he thought Take would have said so earlier, before they'd hiked back out to the marble platform where they'd first come through to Borealis. He didn't know what to say. He knew there was nothing he could say to change his mind. If he hadn't had family back on Earth he'd likely be staying too. The thought of flat out saying goodbye though, it didn't sound right. He knew him to well to just say only that.
Kipp smiled warmly and nodded at Cam who had interrupted his thoughts, turning his eyes back to the dark circle torn into the air. Home. I want to go home.
A smirk pulled up a corner of his face as a thought came to mind for what to say. He had never much cared for musicals but it would fit. Kipp turned, putting a hand on Cams shoulder as he stepped past her toward Take and Kyle.
"So long, Farewell, auf wiedersehen, adieu." he sang. Waving his arms and wings, though less dramatically than was in the movie, and bowing at the end. "Adieu, adieu, to you and you and you." He mimicked the accent the character had as he nodded to Take, Kyle, and Rylie. He could feel his cheeks heating up in embarrassment his voice getting quieter as he went. Kipp huffed a small laugh as he finished, shrugging looking away. "I'll miss you guys."

Take gazed about the group he had been fighting with over the last couple months. It was a long and unforgiving journey to liberate Olim’s armies along with saving Earth. As he stood before the portal, thoughts filled his head and his face was visibly troubled. I don’t want to go back home, I like it here. It feels like I belong where weirdos like me are seen as any other person. There’s always adventures, something to do, unlike back home where I struggled to even pay my rent. I feel happy here. He took a couple steps back, his expression changed to one that was more determined and finalized on his decision to stay. “I’m gonna stay too.” he murmured without hesitation.

Cam swayed in the silky green gown that hung around her ankles. She also had a cape that hung over it, and a crown of flowers sat on the hair that had been twisted round her head, making her look like some queen of vegetation. The leaves around her were beginning to change. Fall was beginning to touch the land of Borealis.
At home, it’s probably springtime, she released.
Yes... she wouldn’t exactly fit in with everyone in Earth, but she had gotten used to wearing dresses by now, but her clothes were totally ruined. Also, the Borealans had dressed her and her companions like this out of respect. They were basically royalty now.
At least I’m not bringing my sword. Alas, a bitter parting.
I’m so ready to go home.
“You know what? I don’t care if it’s Missouri. I just want to go home again.” she informed Kipp.
“And none too soon,” said Laurel. “I think you’ll find Earth a different place from when you left it.”
