The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

I have some more pictures of the UK import Creles to show how the color can be unpredictable some times. I hatched these Juveniles from the crele eggs I imported this summer. This is 3 different cockerels that are brothers from the same hatch.

Interesting......

Whatever that silver critter is...I think he's gorgeous! Imagine a whole flock of those on green grass. Hopefully he won't have yellow leakage.

Actually he is very pale crele. His hackles are very light gold and down his wings, but lavender is his primary color. He really is pretty. I imagine the gold will darken a bit as he gets older as it is just becoming visible now and he is 4 months old. The cockerel that actually looks crele has lavender barring instead of white. (difficult to tell in the photos) Amazing how much they have changed since they were babies.

I do have lavender cuckoo though

. I'll post a picture when I get in the house.

Now this is a strange one.
hu.gif
She as born cuckoo and is nearly white now at 4 months old. She has a few barred
feathers left but not many.
I wish I would have focused more pictures on her but I didn't realize how unique she would be.
The first 2 pictures are her very young.
The third one is her today.

Her today 11.13.12, nearly all the barring is gone
