Oh, it was a question and not a name suggestion. I wouldn't dare try to name someone else's creation!!

What Bob Follows had described in the previous pages was pretty much the birds I posted. https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/386051/the-imported-english-orpington-thread/7080#post_8348247 .
I want to improve on the lacing by breeding them back to a Gold Laced Black with good lacing but I like the tri-color, would just like to refine the lacing. Will see how the feathering is when they fully mature. I'll post more pics then.![]()
Would you consider them a Calico?
I think I would, is there already a Calico? That actually is their color.
This sounds like a great plan to me, with every outcross to Gold Laced birds that have superior lacing the patterning on the Gold Laced Splash birds should get better.
I remember seeing pictures of Marc's Gold Laced Splash birds and they seemed to have very nice type, I'd imagine outcrossing these birds to your Gold Laced line could help improve both lines all around. Whatever you end up calling them it's just important to understand their genetic background.
Good luck with these lovely examples of a beautiful Orpington color!
I honestly don't know if that name has been used or not
