YOur turning out some great big ole birds Roger. The color on that boy is looking good,
I don't trim butts. I have found that if they good breeders I have fertile eggs. Sometimes depending on age of bird it just takes longer . My older Cock birds may wait later in Spring to do the deed right.
 
Evening Everyone - I do not normally cruse this thread but and really wanting to start raising Orpingtons. I really like the looks of the Black. Does anyone have or know anyone who has 100% Black Orp. Bantams for sale? I have seen some ads for some that "split to chocolate?" But I want totally black genes.

Funny thing, but real blacks don't get discussed much. Only the blacks from BBS breedings and chocolate splits. But there is an Orp. Bantam thread that I don't follow, maybe someone there knows?
