There is absolutely NO comparison to the Buffs we have here. Actually, I don't think any of the US Orps can compare with the UK Orps. we HAVE to have some of those !!

There are very few IF any who have Buffs here that could be in the same league as David's Buffs. And his White too!

I should prolly clarify my last statement.

THERE ARE FEW IN DAVID'S LEAGUE IN THE WORLD!

That is more like it.

I choose who to cull by looking at pics like these from some of the best Buff breeders in the world and TRY to get as close as I can with each generation. I am on generation two. I have a long ways to go. In addition to pics I listen to really old dudes. Who go out of their way to help point out the small traits that often get taken for granted which they like me to work on. Like color especially, width depth and head size. With pics like these you can see more what these old timers are talking about. It is hard to take a bad pic of an outstanding bird and make that bird look bad.​

David is the best breeder of Orpingtons in England, he was hit very hard by the robbery, but he had enough to carry on with and I'm sure he will keep breeding some fantastic birds. He's bred some outstanding large blacks this year too. I know who Julies birds were imported from, but what breeders have the others come from?

There are some very promising looking birds in some of the photo's here. I will post some pictures of my blues soon as well as other colours I've had over the past years.

Hi All! Yes i am from England.

I do occasionally sell eggs on Ebay, my user name is 88kizzy.

Yes, David had around 100-150 birds stolen, large and bantam and some exhibition ducks.

I have plenty of photos to share/bore you with!! Mainly large Blue Orpingtons, but some large and bantam Creles, large and bantam Blacks as well as large Buffs. I now only breed large Blues, but bred plenty of colours to before i decided what i wanted to focus on!
