The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

Well good for you Vivi. They are really purty and white and the black chick down is so pretty. I am looking forward to hatching blacks again. I got two eggs today out of my black pen. That makes four this week. Obviously I now have two laying. One today looked like a torpedo so don't know if I will set it or not

Julie.. if you do... lay it down on its side to hatch :) You will have better luck

Amazing Roger..Elvis is king.

I know this is a bad pic but these 2 guys have never had a fight, I thought I would have them seperated by now but they are so peaceful, and they are both afraid of mrs softie.

Here are a few pics for you Vickie..they have gotten so big..the pullets are still shedding baby feathers , so they are a little messy but amazingly deep and big birds. it was minus 7 yesterday morning so kept the light on for them they would go out and in like kids, its going to be near mid 40s today so they are right outside. there is a long covered run off the back of this shed..so even in the weathers bad they can run around out there..

as soon as they see me they come running right over.

Look at all that snow Aveca! They're so brave to be outside. I think they are trying to decide if they want to build a snow man.

Their tail feathers are coming in! What a lovely trio. It's fun to see an updated picture.
