I am on day 10 of incubating black EO eggs and I have a 100% fertility rate!!! now if only they all hatch

I candled them today and they are just bouncing everywhere!!! Happy chicks!

Well Folks Ya'll got some pretty birds, BUT I have WHITE LIGHTING WITH a little BLACK THUNDER to still the moment for the moment ENJOY. Theses are my English White, and Cuckoo babies.

Just set up a Splash/Blue breeding pen. Any suggestions on this breeding arrangement would really be appreciated.

I like his splashes and his dignified look.

Here are a few pics for you Vickie..they have gotten so big..the pullets are still shedding baby feathers , so they are a little messy but amazingly deep and big birds. it was minus 7 yesterday morning so kept the light on for them they would go out and in like kids, its going to be near mid 40s today so they are right outside. there is a long covered run off the back of this shed..so even in the weathers bad they can run around out there..







as soon as they see me they come running right over.

They look wonderful Lynne ! Keep pouring the "Eye of Newt" to them !

....I think they have been holding the feathers in this cold..this is the time of year when the temps are all over the place, one day its 40 the next 20..Took some pics of Rogers..he is impervious to the cold..he picks his feet way up to his chest and marchs right out there..doesnt wait for paths..Wish I had gotten of a pic of him way out in the feild..it was funny..looked like he was floating on snow...then he plows his way back..the others wont go unless I shovel..they are much prettier than I can take a picture .. , I have little or no talent taking pics..one of the australorp hens was by thier pen this morning , I had a pic but it was very blurry..

Hows this for a little winter wear....I would probably wear it too..Somone was selling them on THE web...too funny..
