You can't tell how big this girl is but she is another favorite hen of mine.
I can see why she's your favorite!

Rock Star is in love too. He'd like to take her out on a date.

Beautiful as always Julie. I love the color on those young pullets. They really seem to have that "dove gray" color that I've read UK breeders talking about trying to achieve in their Blues. Plus their lacing already looks spectacular at such a young age. I just love when you post pictures.

Julie I really like that splash chick it's so big,
I really love all your orps!!

ETA: these pics were taken yesterday, it was like 30* but still we had the sun come out and they were enjoying it,I have a hatchery BR with them her name is Barbara she is blind in one eye and lays green eggs, she looks so small next to them. I have 2 black chickens and 1 blue, but one of the black ones is in a separate pen cause I'm taking that pullet to a show next week

I bet that BR wishes she were an Orp. Beautiful birds

Thanks Jeremy, That was Black Cock over a Splash that produced them. About half the chicks turned out that color and the other were to dark of a blue but big

Irene, I know how happy you are about your blues starting to lay. This has been a slow start season for breeding due to lack of eggs.

Nava thank you. I am hoping to produce some really good blacks this year. Hoping feed prices stay down.

Thank you Galanie. I am glad everyone is enjoying them.
