This young boy is 9 months old. He is large. I haven't had a black I am completely happy with except I still wish I could buy back one i sold last year to Charles Logan. I will have one at some point that I think satifies my mind.

That Julie black hen is one of my favorites to look at too! They just look like to me what an orpington should look like...you dont have to look twice
 
Beautiful as always Julie. I love the color on those young pullets. They really seem to have that "dove gray" color that I've read UK breeders talking about trying to achieve in their Blues. Plus their lacing already looks spectacular at such a young age. I just love when you post pictures.
