Oh, and sorry Nellie that you had to go through that. You were very smart to have clip boards!
The clip boards work great. If I move anyone I can just mover their information sheet (makes it really easy on hubby for helping collect eggs

This is getting to be redicoulis, I wish somebody would expose this little rat ever who they are. sory to here that Nellie but sounds like you have evrything right, good work gal.Funny thing happened to me this morning (actually not so funny when I got to the bottom of the story). UDSA made a surprise visit to our farm today...........Yes, they are allowed to do that.
Hmmmm......seems that someone turned us in for illegal importing(all lies I should add at this point).![]()
The USDA inspector and I had a very nice visit. I showed him around the farm. Every coop has a clipboard with the birds picture that is in that coop, their point of origin, number of roos and hens and name of the breed even how to label the eggs ( the chicklets are accounted for as well). Nothing fancy but not much room for error.
He copied all my paperwork, import papers etc., and everything was legal and in order, every bird was accounted for. Not sure who would feel the need to file a false report/accusation, and it is my understanding they don't take to kindly to that either. Kind of disrupts everyone's day..........
Sorry if I posted in the wrong area but seemed to me it would be OK since it pertains to imported orps.
Anyway, I had to give him a whole list of names of illegal importers that I had......(just kidding about the list of names.....

The rest of the story is true, just not that last line, I just couldn't pass up the chance to say that.![]()
The weird thing is who would do something like that to Nellie of all people? She has to be one of the nicest- if not THE nicest person I have ever done business with.
These are so beautiful I don't know how you waited so long to post pictures, I would not could not have waited. This is my first time ever showing my Gold Laced Orps on BYC from Fancychick. I love them. The Gold Laced Orps are so slow to show their beauty and mature. But, when they do.................WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What are the odds of receiving One rooster out of a quad? I was so lucky. Thank you, Nellie. What were they thinking? Thelma: Hey Bertha, What do you suppose it is? Bertha: I don't know. You try it. Thelma: I'm not going to try it. Hey, let's get Missy to try it, she'll try anything. Missy: Hey, it's pretty good!!! But, I don't know what it is. Ya'll dig in.I wish someone would have told me I would be taking pictures today. I would have put on some makeup.
Hey Bud, watch your own. She's mine.
These are both mine. Back off!!!
Yep, I'm the master of this flock. Don't even try to mess with me.
I can't believe the transformation over the past several months. These really blossomed. It was quite remarkable.....Phantom_Rooster
