It has been a long night here... lost power well after dark soo had to hook the genny because the incubator, brooders, and baby goat needed power. It just came back on a few mins ago. Praise God. The yard was a blanket of snow. All the fruit trees bent over with the weight of it. 2 of my big umbrellas are laying on their sides... and steps to the porch are icy I bet my tomato plants bit the dust But on the bright side... I bet some bugs died..lol

There is always a bright side. It has been usual weather for the Spring.

I know that I will have to cull hard when they mature. That's what breeding is about when you want to get to a certain standard.

I just got a black cockerel that Nellie bred. He is a nice looking bird. I can't wait till he is out of isolation. He is very sweet too. Loves to talk and chatter.

IMHO, you've certainly have gotten there with many a bird too.

Your QH's are super nice too...just thought I'd throw that in there.

Here is one of the babies you sent up to Alaska this last batch....Im thinking he has a whole bunch of potential even if he is at the ugly stage...lol Personality plus, this one I'll have to keep under wraps, he's already full of himself

Then there's a boy I bred last year out of your lines, combined with Sterling Meadows (Tori's girls).....this is Kong who lives with a friend of mine.




and last but not least, a very young hen from the same breeding who lives with the same family that own Kong.
