The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

Nellie,

Here is one of the babies you sent up to Alaska this last batch....Im thinking he has a whole bunch of potential even if he is at the ugly stage...lol Personality plus, this one I'll have to keep under wraps, he's already full of himself

Then there's a boy I bred last year out of your lines, combined with Sterling Meadows (Tori's girls).....this is Kong who lives with a friend of mine.

and last but not least, a very young hen from the same breeding who lives with the same family that own Kong.

I'd like to think we are headed in the right direction! Thanks for peeking....

Very nice, LOVE that pullet

Thank you for the pics!

Stepped out the door with my coffee a few minutes ago and noticed a couple visitors and thought I would share this lovely family.

They don't stay long. They just stop for a quick swim then they are usually on their way to the pond up the road (without a dog......)

The pond up the road is about a mile but the geese walk it through the fields with their babies (baby in this case). Nature is amazing.

I know, I know, I am really off the subject but I had to share this from my son in Scotland this morning. I know we have a lot of horse people as well as Orp people on here (good minds think alike

) thought you'd enjoy a morning chuckle.

My daughter served two tours and suffers from PTSD from a bomb going off. She has shrapnel lodged in her head that is permanent. I would like to take today and thank all the people like my daughter who risks lives to serve all of us... in the past, and who will risk it in the future. To also thank all the parent who support the children they send off. To also thank the people who generously send care packages to the solders.
