The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

I snapped a few pics of my chick flock (I hatched in June) this morn....have 1 Korfus line Blue male at 7 weeks shown amongest 1 SOP Buff pullet and some SOP Buff Rocks...It's hard to appreciate how HUGE this blue male really is. I should have put something next to him for reference..but the other chicks are real good sized. He is looking like he has breeder potential, however it is so early.

cbnovick..he looks fantastic, great lacing..no shafting..going to be a super nice rooster
Thanks so much for your input...

That Renie is something else ain't she. I did send her seversl US or to some "Roadrunners" they call them. She sent me 5 young buffs out of my females and her Midus male. I think I have 2 males and 3 females. They got here in western Oklahoma and it turned off hot ever since. Thay have done well and look pretty nice.

the guy that called them roadrunners lives in australia..theirs are round like a circle..prettysure the article was in exhibition poultry..

it is kind of funny.the article was a us judge and austlian and england judges having a discussion about the differences..
