I'd like to go to one big show. I'd love to talk to other Orp breeders. Which would be a good show to attend. I'd like to put it on my calendar.

Dee I'd love to see you show some of your birds- they are the nicest GL I've seen

Found a fun shot of 3 of my boys today. Monty at 1 year front left and his 2 sons, Hungry at 6 months , right front, and Moose at 5 months in the rear. The 2 front boys are 100% English. Moose in the rear is 50% by Monty out of Dolly. He is now larger than Monty and Hungry. I am just about sold out of pullets, but I will have a few very nice cockerels for sale.

I'm so inspired by these guys! That's why I love this group, when I see all the wonderful birds it gives me something to work toward. I have learned so much in a few short months

Gosh, thank you Pug Bug, but I'd be there just to admire and learn. I'm hoping GL breeders will be in Columbus. People need to see them in person!

I had a jubilee Orp egg in the incubator with an air cell on the side (not shipped eggs so idk why). The little guy pipped but seemed unable to hatch. I guess it's hard to spin around the long way. Anyway... I helped him out a bit, and he peeked at me from under his wing. It kinda tugged at my heart strings. I haven't had great luck with assisted hatch chicks, but I can never help myself.

My husband was mowing the pasture behind their yard and one sought her out as a place to hide since she's as wide as a tent...in a feminine way

. The color is off in the pictures. They were mostly in the shade.





I haven't weighed her. Don't want her to think she's too **t. She's twice as wide as her sisters. I just love her.
