Hmmmmm....that is a very interesting thought Renie. I would say we would still have some import red tape to get through, as that would be considered "chicken product."

A lot of the birds on that site are simply stunning!

I watched a video today that only took me over a hr to load... ugg... but.. I did get to watch it... looks pretty simple to me. I have collected and AIed many dogs over the years. I do believe I could easily collect and AI chickens. I am sure vets would have to be involved for the collections and special tank would need to be purchased for the dry ice and straws of semen. I do know of a place online that actually sells all the equipment new.

I took a few pics this evening. Snort Snort, like 126:lol: Anyway I am working on watermarking them so I can post. Joy would have been proud of me trying to get on the ground for pics.
First one is some lovely blues

It may be worth it for the very fact that you could potentially get more "semen straws" for the amount of money paid verses the cost of importing live birds/eggs. It's a huge risk, but the results may be much more favorable.

I think the next two will make some beautiful chicks. I have three pullets in with Prince. I am getting two to three eggs a day right now.
