The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

Tennessee - sounds like she is broody to me. If you want to break her, try a putting her in a wire cage up off the ground with food and water. Keep her in that for a couple of days. It works like a charm for me.

I am hoping to get some... They're my most recent dream.

Marc - when are you going to be getting your Gold Laced?

For the first time since January, my house is chicken-free and no incubators running. My last eggs hatched out this past Monday and incubators are washed, disinfected and put away. My Gold Laced Orpington babies left the house brooder yesterday afternoon and went down to the "Big Coop." They are a little over 7 weeks old now. I ran down first thing this morning to check on them and they were all out running around and pecking and scratching in the grass in their run. I'm going to try to get some good pictures of them this afternoon to post later.

Hi,

I have imported chocolate bantam orpingtons, lavender LF and black LF.
You're always welcome to inquire should you be interested in one of those varieties.
Thanks.

Hi Joy,

It will probably be in july. It all depends on how fast the officials over there want to work LOL.
I look forward to see your pictures.
Have a nice day,

Marc
