Also, for those who have flower beds or gardens to weed - try weeding during the phase of the Dark Moon (New Moon) or during waxing of the Dark Moon. You won't have to weed quite so soon next time.
 
The full moon is coming up soon right? I'm going to try digging a hole.

ETA: I love seeing Julie and Joy on here. I can't thank them enough for making these birds available to people like me. I can't imagine my place without them. They bring me joy every day.

Roger they are all Fabulous. YOur boy has a very nice chest. No cut away breast on Him. NIce and round from top to bottom.

Mr Softie just had his fill of mac apples..sort of sleep walking..hes out of show condition ..9 months now, just enjoyin the fall pasture..I have never in my life seen a chicken that likes to be buffed and fluffed for show like this guy..he loves every minute of it..almost falls asleep when hes getting his feet washed..and makes a contented purring noise..

how old are yours now.. Im at 9 months , nothing yet..the australorps start between 5 and 6 months so this is new to me, and if it wasnt for all of you..I might be in a panic..Im sure the 32 degree temp doesnt help things right now.
