This is our favourite orpington colour. We have sourced crele orpingtons from private collectors across the country and also purchased hatching eggs from a top ...

Well Pidge that is still a slight increase from last year. So sorry I couldn't get there and show a few. So sounds like two black cockerels I sold in Jan in Lake City got BB and BV at the Newnan show. That boy that got BB was a hard decision for me to sell. He was my favorite one type wise but I had one larger and since I was downsizing I had to make a call. Glad they are being shown. Hope you get some great chicks out of your boy. Would love to see the hens your bought. Maybe one of these days we can get some shows closer to us in our area.

I only counted about 10 Orpingtons shown. There was not that many. The one I got from you got RV and the hen That I have didnt do so good came in last for the hens. Didnt think she would do all that well she has some growing to do still. Got to get pictures of our new blue orpington hens mom bought so you guys can tell me what you think.

We will have another shipment coming soon - as soon as the temps get a little warmer in the UK - and will have some of these colors coming in....patience.

Thanks,
Richard

These crele that I posted are owned by a Steve Masenhove? Not sure of the last name. Said he's gathered the best he could from a number of sources which doesn't mean Mr. Follows hasn't had his hand in the mix. But not supposed to be Follows own birds. Richard, we do not know each other so I hope you'll not take my question wrong as it comes from honest interest; the color IS beautiful but will your expected imports be THE TYPE of the birds seen here? One can tool around online and find crele colored Orpingtons but these were striking for type as well as color. Also wondered if you have cuckoo already imported and if so any photos to share? Somewhere along the line I got the idea that you already have the cuckoos.

She is mighty pretty Kathy.

Happymtn and Pidgey
I was just reading a report from the fellow that won Champion English in Newnan and he said over 20 LF Orps shown. I went back and counted the lineup of placement for the Blacks shown and it looked like there were about 8 black LF shown. There was a white , some blues and Buffs

Suppose to be a beautiful spring-like day here today, 65°. I am planning to take advantage of it, and work outside. I need to trim some fluff, so I can get some fertile eggs. I also want to try AI with the chocolate male bantam to my big black hens.
