The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

Very nice boy.

If my memory serves me right he was from our American coop out of our May/Horstman flock? Good luck and thank you for sharing.
I am really sorry to hear about the predator.

If you are in need of eggs to replace them PM me and I would certainly be happy to send some to you! We have now added a beautiful HinkJC roo to that coop so a tiny bit different blood line.
Got any pics of your English girl? Would love to see her.

So if he was out of your American Coop, should I not breed him to an English? (Sorry, I'm learning) Here is my girl: Ideally, I would have a splash to breed to my Black Girl or Boy and then get lots of blue babies.

It's very hard to get a body shot of her as she is SOO friendly, she runs right up and is in my face when I come out with the camera. Even climbs into my lap. I just adore her. She is just shy of 3 months.

4312: I hatched my last bunch out with some Mille Fleur Banties and they are all buddies. Snuggle up together, roost together, it's odd.

You can breed them if that is what you would like to do, but if it is possible to get your splash English roo I guess that is what I would do. He is a very nice boy and from an excellent line and lots of people do cross them, it all depends on what you are breeding for and what you would like to do.
Good luck with what ever you decide!

I will do. It is so funny I have seramas hatching out at the same time. My husband is amazed at the size difference (ummmmm....duh)....but it is funny. I told my daughter to go and look at the broody (who happens to be a BR cross who is in my egg layer pen - eggs only), anyway, DD went to look...came back to tell me that from under momma there was a little fluffy yellow head and another one that was black. Very cute. I have overload of cuteness at my house right now. And I am diabetic...overload of sweetness. LOL.

Today is kind of rainy...but I will take photos soon. Good hatch. out of 7 eggs...5 healthy babies. Thank you Rebel Yell.
